About Stuart
Stuart is an experienced artist printmaker. His images are colourful and combine a variety of elements. He uses various techniques including linocut, lithography and monoprinting. Much of his work is created on his own hand-made paper made from recycled materials and plant fibres.
Stuart completed his foundation course in Lowestoft and went on to complete his BA in Fine Art Printmaking at West Surrey School of Art and Design at Farnham. He achieved his MA in Fine Art with distinction at Camberwell School of Art in London, in 1992. He has exhibited at a number of group and single person shows, mostly in London.
Currently he has his own studio at home in Brighton and opens his house as part of the Fiveways trail during the Brighton Artists Open House in May.
